Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at MarineParents.com, Inc. The organization is growing daily, and our need for additional volunteers is growing as well.

Volunteering at MarineParents.com, Inc. is a rewarding experience and opens many doors to new friendships, levels of support, and provides you an opportunity to lend support to other Marine Corps families as well as our Marines and Sailors. Volunteers at MarineParents.com are not compensated either monetarily or with benefits.

Volunteer positions are available in a wide range of capabilities, number of hours required, and level of responsibility. As of April, 2008 the organization employs 68 volunteers that work around the United States in a variety of capacities in an online office environment. The outreach projects have over 160 volunteers working to support our Marines in a variety of ways.

Volunteers are expected to make a weekly time commitment and must sign a confidentiality agreement and contract for a time commitment. Volunteers are encouraged to attend monthly volunteer meetings in an online chat room. Moderating positions require 40 hours of training. Volunteer management positions require attendance at monthly management team meetings.

Volunteers are provided with online tools, online instructional materials, and an online office environment for communicating and working with other volunteers, managers, directors, and paid staff. Volunteers are required to have access to a computer and internet connection.

The corporate office is in Columbia, Missouri. Volunteer positions are available without training or computer requirements for interested parties located near the corporate office.
