Marine Parents is proud to announce its 7th year shipping Girl Scout Cookies® to Marines in combat zones!

We have 14,400 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies® arriving in our warehouse in April. To get these cookies to Marines deployed to Afghanistan, we'll need to raise 100% of the funds ($15,000) to ship the cookies. We need your help collecting donations.

For 80 years, the Girl Scouts of America have bettered their local communities, and the Girl Scouts of Connecticut have chosen to take their plight abroad by serving those who serve us. Each year, the Connecticut Girl Scout troops work hard to make sure our combat deployed Marines receive a taste of home by donating cookies to the Marine Parents’ Care Package Project™. The cookies we all know and love are made here in the USA, and what better way to say “thank you” than with these truly time honored American traditions.

In April, we will have 14,400 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies® arriving in our warehouse. To ship these cookies to the Marines deployed in Afghanistan, we need to raise 100% of the funds, and we need your help collecting donations. We estimate the cost of shipping 14,400 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies® (in about 1200 flat rate boxes) to Afghanistan to be about $15,000 so we’re hoping to raise the full amount by April 30. The Girl Scouts have kept up their end of the bargain, and now it is time to keep up ours!

A special “thank you” goes out to all who are helping us ship our cookies to our brave Marines in Afghanistan! The Girl Scout cookies are always a favorite with the Marines as the flood of “thank you” notes received afterwards indicates. While the Marines are ever thankful, we are just happy to be delivering a piece of comfort to the young men and women who do so much for us.
